Hi!
It’s been awhile since we wrote one of these things since the last time we just copied and pasted pictures! So much has happened since then…. The main happening has been the “change over of the nanny”. We let go of sister and aunt Lana and welcomed friend Brenda Keim to our family. We’re thankful God has provided another godly young lady to help us. Cole has made the transition and loves Brenda dearly. We’re also thankful we get to see Alana on a fairly regular basis. When asked where Alana is he says,” at Drandpas”. But when we see her he always wants to bring her along.
-June… Most of this month was spent in Canada, going as far north and west as Prince Albert, Sask. We started the trip with a wedding in IN with a week of services in MI and MN following. Crossing over the Canadian line in ND we had services in some of the same areas we were at two years ago. It was good to go back and see folks again and this time with our two boys. We had several prison services in Prince Albert (aka PA to the folks up there) and then made our way back down to the border. Our last weekend in Canada was spent at a music festival less than an hour from the line. We were encouraged and blessed to be a part of that.
-July and August… Tent Crusades!!! In IN and PA. This was the first time that we were involved with any crusade for the whole time. The one in IN was, of course, special because of it being right in our home area. It was a blessing to see friends and family come out expecting a blessing and having cups turned up. It was also great to be so close to my family. We stayed close to the tent at my Uncle Glenn Zimmermans and Cole had a great time with his cousins. He still wonders if he’s going to see Cory and Andy soon but is so used to the answer that he answers it himself “no, maybe in awhile.”
The PA crusade was also a blessing to be a part of and we saw God working in many ways from reconciliation in families to providing help to take the tent down. It was a blessing to be able to work with Dave and Ruthann and their family and Nelson for that many weeks.
-After the crusade in PA we headed to OH for a week. Some of that week was spent relaxing and reconnecting as a family and then the weekend was spent helping with the Living Hope auction.
-The summer has been very busy and we are having a good time here at home being in a house, having our evenings open and COOKING! God provided a four wheeler thru some friends and Amos and the boys are thoroughly enjoying riding that in the evenings.
-The boys are each growing so fast. It is so neat to see how their Creator made them so different and yet still have some similar characteristics.
-Cole is still our go-getter and daddys boy. He’s started talking up a blue streak, you never know what’s going to come out of his mouth! He just started getting interested in singing so it will be exciting to see how fast he picks it up. He likes to play in the water and jump. We pray that God would help us channel that energy in the right direction!
-Logan has also been busy changing. He is more laid back than Cole but watches every thing his big brother does. He’s crawling and pulling himself up. He wants to be involved in Daddy and Coles tussling matches and laughs and laughs when Cole acts silly with him. He’s very smily and a cuddler, much to his mommy’s delight. He loves his daddy too and whenever possible is in his arms.
Pray for us that we as a family would grow closer together and closer to the Father!
Love,
Amos and Margaret, Cole and Logan
